Originally from a very small town outside of Chicago, I moved to LA at 18 - to attend USC. Six years later - in 2000, I moved to San Diego and have been loving it here ever since. I have been a Management Consultant for over 10 years now and finally made the decision to concentrate more on my children and photography in 2011.
In 2002, I did wedding photography for a year (shot 21 weddings in one year - that was a lot of work!) and have been photographing as a hobby ever since - upgrading my camera equipment every couple of years. I found my niche in families with children. I just love the fun things you can do with children!

I have a 3 year old daughter and 7 month old son who keep me very busy and well-entertained. We live in North County and enjoy the beach, ballet for my daughter, traveling (although we're on hiatus till the kids are a little older!), cooking/healthy eating, organic gardening, home improvements, entertaining, and pretty much anything creative.
I have to credit Robin Reid, my friend, colleague, and mentor for taking this photo of me. I simply added the artistic brush!
And I have to mention this guy since he doesn't get much credit now that we have 2 kids! He was my original muse - Kingston always tries to get in the shot!
